In the 3.70 crore robbery case at Tanishq Jewellery showroom in Purnia, STF team has conducted raids in Araria district and detained two suspects. Many evidences have also been collected. STF team is interrogating the two detained suspects in Araria city police station. Both are residents of Sahebganj in Jharkhand. On the basis of information provided by both, STF team has also detained a professor posted in Purnia Medical College. Professor is a resident of Krishnapuri Ward No. 9 in Araria. He is also being interrogated.

Both of them lived in the professor’s house

It is being told that on the basis of secret information, STF and Purnia police team raided the house of a professor posted in Purnia Medical College in Araria on Sunday. Both the suspects were taken into custody from here. Both of them lived in the house of a professor of Purnia Medical College. Both of them came to live on rent in the professor’s house a month ago, who were telling that they were studying in Delhi. At the same time, the family of the youth is also not aware of his living in Araria.

Both of them also mentioned the name of a girl

During interrogation, both the youths told the name of a girl from Palasi, who used to deliver food to the youth from Raxol. The FSL team that came with the STF collected many evidences from the house located in Krishnapuri. According to information received from police sources, the police is also conducting raids in Sahabganj of Jharkhand, Muzaffarpur of Bihar, Araria and Malda of West Bengal.

Many clues were obtained from Araria in the robbery case

The STF and Purnia police team have got many clues from Araria in the robbery case. Sources are telling that after the incident, the robbers also shopped heavily from the shopping mart and electronics shops located in Vikas Market. Apart from this, many such evidences have been found, which the police are taking seriously. SP Upendra Nath Verma has formed five different teams to arrest the criminals. The team is also in touch with the police of Jharkhand and Bengal. The team claims that all the criminals will be arrested soon.
